WELLBEING FOUNDATIONS

Online Counselling for Emotional Wellbeing

What is counselling?

Counselling provides a confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with a trained counsellor.

Through attentive listening and thoughtful conversation, we can explore what is troubling you, make sense of your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin.

Who is counselling for?

Counselling service at Wellbeing Foundations is for adults who want space to explore their emotional wellbeing and better understand what they are experiencing.

You might be dealing with:

  • Anxiety, stress or emotional overwhelm.
  • Persistent overthinking or difficulty switching off.
  • Self-doubt or a loss of confidence.
  • Difficulties with relationships or changes in your life.
  • Past experiences that continue to affect how you feel.
  • Feelings you struggle to understand or put into words.

You do not need a diagnosis or a clearly defined problem to make an enquiry. Sometimes, you simply know that something does not feel right.

Counselling at Wellbeing Foundations is not a medical service. We not diagnose mental health conditions or prescribe medication. If you require medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment, please seek support from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Wellbeing Foundations is not an emergency or crisis service and cannot provide immediate crisis intervention.

My approach

I believe there is more to a person than what we see on the surface.

Our experiences can influence how we think, feel, respond to others and see ourselves. My approach centres on understanding the person beneath the pressure, without judgement or assumptions.

Sessions are shaped around your experiences and what you want to explore, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Taking the first step

You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before reaching out.

1. Make an enquiry

Complete the contact form on the Wellbeing Foundations website to express your interest in counselling.

2. Arrange a free introductory call

Following your enquiry, we will arrange a complimentary 15-minute call at a time that suits us both. We can discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer your initial questions and consider whether we are suited to working together.

This is an introductory conversation, not a counselling session, and there is no obligation to proceed.

3. Decide how to proceed

If we agree that counselling may be appropriate, we can discuss the arrangements for your sessions and the next steps.
